    Proponency Mission:

    Our mission in Personnel Proponency is to manage the eight personnel life-cycle functions for the Chaplain Assistant (MOS 56M) The life-cycle functions include:

    • Distribution |
    • Deployment |
    • Sustainment |
    • Development |
    • Transition

    We take the lead in defining developmental needs, refining requirements in the field and providing assistance to improve all aspects of the Army's personnel management system.

    Our goal is to enhance the careers of Chaplain Assistants by providing guidance and advice on career progression and promotion opportunities. We also monitor to ensure equal opportunity practices are employed in all aspects of the life-cycle functions for our Soldiers serving in the 56M Career Management Field.
